Impossible to beat computer

Am I missing something? I love this board game but here its IMPOSSIBLE to beat a program with an algorithm to get all the nobles with the fewest amount of moves. The last game I played the computer got all three nobles. There should be a difficulty setting because right now Ive wasted $6.99 on a game anyone less than a mathematical genius (or computer) couldnt possibly win :-/

UPDATE: I am taking off another star because when I earn nobles, the game is still not awarding them to me. This game is officially unplayable and Id press for a refund if I hadnt already wasted too much time trying to play this buggy game.
