I find it useful only in having game time when I cant sit down with friends, otherwise Im very disappointed that I cant also play with them via this app.

Great board game. Awesome port. But please give us online multiplayer!! Thank you
Like most reviews, the game is awesome and addicting. It has such great strategy. It just needs multiplayer!!!
The interface does not allow player to take fewer gems than the max and waste time forcing player to return gems to supply. It is often non-responsive when attempting to retrieve gems, also wasting time which penalizes players when attempting challenges. The game crashes on launch and the support link goes to DOW page that offers nothing but game play advice.
Great game. Learn in minutes, but deep strategy that changes in each game. Pros. Variable ai Challenge mode- practice your skills on different types of challenges based on the base game. Cons: No online play. Does have pass and play though.
I bought the game, played once. Went to play again and each time I try, it says "loading" and eventually crashes. It shows it is open in the background but doesnt work to play. I guess I spent 6.99 for one 12 minute game.
I love this game but I really hate the ugly artwork. I wish I didnt have to look at all the uglies.
It worked really well at first. Now all it does is crash. It wont even let me in before it crashes and shuts out of it. I tried updating it but that didnt seem to solve anything. So disappointed.
This game has great potential. Playing the game itself is very enjoyable. That the gem selection graphic slides out is very clever and saves space on the board, it covers up my white gem area and that is inconvenient. In this game I believe you should be able to see the opponents cards. It would be nice to be able to see the opponents reserved cards. Lastly, and this is pretty important, the game drains the battery life like crazy on my iPad Air. Its about 2.5% battery life per game! Watching streaming video doesnt use this much battery, so I think the game needs work. Some people report crashing, fortunately I dont have that issue.
This is a fantastic game. I wouldve given it 5 stars. However the faces, art is so offensive. Please change it.
Addictive game but unfortunate thats its only a 1 player game
I have enjoyed playing this on iPad mini and iPhone but it doesnt work on my new iPad?!? As others have posted, there is a sort of black cover over the screen. The app thinks its working and sound functions but I can see nothing or do anything. I reinstalled and get same results. On my other devices this rates a 4.5 (5 stars if I could play with other people) but I really want to use it on this larger screen so only one star for now.
Splendor is a great game! The graphics are fantastic and the challenges are a fun side note. However, the app should have the option to add AI players into pass and play games. It gets old just playing one other person. Having the AI as an extra player would make me rate this app at five starts instead of three.
Bug Fix Needed: Sometimes the End Turn button will appear even if you haven’t done anything yet. If you happen to press the button, it will just skip your turn without completing an action. Option Wanted: Multiplayer via Bluetooth and/or Wifi. The pass and play option is annoying and would be better suited for a group to be on their own devices. Pros: Really good game. This was my first exposure to it and I wanted to make a minimal investment before buying the $30-$40 physical copy. I really enjoy playing it even though the AI can be sometimes overly challenging. Cons: Lack of multiplayer via wifi and bluetooth is a bummer. I’ll buy the physical card game version, but it’d be nice to play on multiple devices. Carcassonne does a great job at supporting multiplayer.
Days of wonder, solid port guys, seriously well done! If you add AI players to Pass and Play youll get a 5th star from me. Keep up the good work.
Love the game. I second the reviewer who wants online multiplayer in addition to pass-n-play (still much faster than pulling out the board game). But also wish I could turn off Game Center - is this why it crashes on startup so often on my mini? Also have issues with it not obeying my mute switch. Here are the game-play bugs I see: 1. Occasionally it wont let me buy a card I can afford - puts it on hold instead (I know you can return and re-select it mult times and itll finally work, but I often miss that until after Ive ended my turn). 2. If I want to put a card on hold, but could afford it with a gold token I already have, it wont let me put the card on hold - only buy or not buy. 3. Twice now an AI opponent has purchased, on their turn, a card I have on hold in my "hand." Not frequent, but a big bug. 4. Until all the bugs are fixed, how about an "undo" button for those time when we hit end turn too fast?
Updated to Version 1.1.0, game crashes while trying to start up. Have uninstalled and reinstalled on iPad Mini, still crashes while trying to start up.
About half the games I have attempted to play have ended up with a mess up--they can not have play tested this very well. Takes the fun away. The last game I played said I could purchase a reserve card the turn after I reserved it even though I didnt have required coins ---sometimes the counted victory points dont match the cards etc etc its just a hot mess. Will try to play again after a few more updates.
Worked great for a while. As of late, just crashes when starting. Crashes back to desktop on my IPad mini. Please fix. I want to play it again (and again, and again). Just give me back ver 1.0.. At least that worked on my IPad mini. Update...installed new patch 9/19...still crashes to desktop, never gets past first screen of the box art.
Cant even get it to load on iPad. Refund pleaaaaaase!!
